Reports and downloads

Use the report or download control provided by the current comparison. Text and Office reports describe comparison rules; CSV uses tabular output, and visual comparisons can export images or PDF reports. A report is not an editable replacement for the original Office document. Display filters and report scope are separate.

Comparison limits

No important differences means agreement within the selected mode and rules. It does not establish identical file bytes, identical appearance or identical metadata. Check the relevant modes separately.

System clipboard commands require a user action and browser permission. Copying between the two panes does not need the system clipboard. Saving downloads a new file and does not overwrite a disk original.

Privacy and sessions

Files, extracted text, edits and results remain in the current tab’s memory. File contents are processed in the browser, without an account or upload. Refreshing, closing the tab or browser memory cleanup loses the session. Download work before leaving; the stored language preference does not save documents.
